Ohio militiamen committed a massive killing of Indians in retaliation for Indian raids in the Territory. 96 of these Indians were Christian Indians of the Delaware tribe. 1825: Birth of Alfred Edersheim. Born a Jew, Alfred converted to Christianity before the age of twenty. He became a great Bible scholar and later published "The Life and Times of Jesus the Messiah". 1867: Birth of Peter Cameron Scott. In 1895, Peter organized a moment and led the first band of missionaries to Kenya.
